Terms of Service

By accessing or using Emplero, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are using Emplero on behalf of an accounting firm or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Emplero is a software-as-a-service platform for accounting firms that automates document processing, data extraction, bank reconciliation, and client management. The service uses AI to extract financial information from uploaded documents. AI extraction results are suggestions and should be reviewed by qualified professionals before use in financial reporting.

• You may only upload documents that you have the legal right to process
• You must not use the service for any illegal purpose
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service

Paid plans (Pro and Firm) are billed monthly in Canadian dollars (CAD) via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are available within 7 days of initial purchase. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.

You retain full ownership of all data you upload to Emplero. We do not claim any rights to your documents or extracted financial data. You may export or delete your data at any time.

Emplero is provided “as is.” We are not liable for errors in AI-extracted data, financial losses, or decisions made based on information processed by the service. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding any claim. This does not affect your statutory rights.

You may cancel your account at any time from the Settings page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
